How to Record audio straight from your computer without any software

For Windows XP and Below Operating Systems

Open Volume Controller in your system tray and goto Recording Control.

In the Options You have to select Stereo Mix & Microphone.

Once you have both the options in front of you select Stereo Mix & Open Audio Recorder (You can find it under start > programs > accessories)

Now Play some audio / streaming music and click on Record, here you go. The sound is now getting digitally recorded in a MP3 / WAV file which you select.  Close the recording and save the file. See Below Video for more details.

For Windows Vista:

Goto Control Panel

Open Sound Icon & goto Recording Tab:

If you see Stereo Mix select that and set it as default or if you cant find it there. Right Click and select “Show Disabled Devices” and then enable Stereo Mix.

Play some audio to test and you can see the Bars Flashing:

Start the stremaing audio / video / flash songs and record them in your sound Recorder:

You can find it in your Start > Programs > Accessories or just type Sound in your start button.

Go ahead and enjoy digital copyrights free music any time anywhere. You can use this with http://last.fm or any other Free to listen Music site.
